Town names Wilson its new finance director

FRONT ROYAL — B.J. Wilson recently got a promotion and lost the ìinterimî from his title.

Wilson was named the townís director of finance. He had served as interim finance director since the retirement of Kim Gilkey-Breeden in March.

Wilson has 18 years of finance and accounting experience and is certified as a Virginia Contracting Associate for Governmental Purchasing, according to a town news release.

Wilson, who lives with his family in Strasburg, is a graduate of Warren County High School.

He is a volunteer with the Front Royal-Warren County Humane Society, the Watch DOG Program for Shenandoah County Schools and assists with activities for the Strasburg American Legion.
