Lynn G. Rinaca


Lynn Griffith Rinaca, of Biglerville, Pa., formerly of Shenandoah, died on Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, from complications incurred during surgery at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pa.

He was a son of the late Henry and Emma F. Griffith Rinaca of Shenandoah.

Mr. Rinaca graduated from Shenandoah High School Class of 1951. He was a United States veteran, having served in Germany during the Korean War. Following military service, he returned to former employer Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore, Md., where he retired as a metallurgical technician after 35 years of service. He was a member of the VFW Post 8613 in Shenandoah.



Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years, Sheila J. Rinaca, are four brothers, Gerald, Allan, Melvin and Charles Rinaca, all of Shenandoah; two sisters, Dorothy Bass of Ashland, and Eleanor Sampson of Waynesboro; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Philip Inman and Kenneth Rinaca.



A memorial service was conducted on Sunday, Aug. 21, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Shenandoah by Pastor Phyllis Diamond.



Young memorial


A memorial service for Aline Young will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621 in Luray, with a reception to follow.



Luzmila C. Clark


Luzmila Cofre Clark, 92, beloved wife of Russell Clark, left this life peaceably July 26, 2016.

She was born in Chile, a country she left many years ago. She lived in Europe and England and at some time moved to the United States.

Until her marriage to Russell, she lived in Washington, D.C., and taught in the Washington public schools.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; and older sister, Margarita Cofre Alegria.

She is survived by two younger sisters, Maria Domitila Cofre Alegria and Maria Iris Cofre Alegria; a niece, Paulina Antonieta Soto Cofre; and a grandniece and grand nephew, all of Chile. (Paid Obituary)



Kenneth B. Fox


Kenneth Butler “Kenny” Fox, 61, of Bentonville, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, August 23, at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home by Pastor Carlton Rogers. Burial followed in Willis Chapel Cemetery in Huntly. Following the burial, a reception was held at Dynamic Praise and Worship Center in Front Royal.

Kenny was born November 28, 1954, son of the late Delmar G. Fox Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Butler Fox.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and currently worked for Page County as the building official.

Surviving are his loving wife, Rona Hall Fox of Bentonville; six brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Anne Fox, Delmar G. Fox Jr., Donna Lea Sargent, Debra Lynn Serreno, James Kevin Fox and Kyle Blakely Fox, and their spouses; father-in-law Bob Hall; brothers and sisters-in-law, Deborah Kay Williams, Donna Pete, Patty Ann Donley, Robert Laing, Kathleen Cassels, Charlie Boy Hall and Carol Ann Riffle; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and close family and friends. He was preceded in death by a special nephew, Kirk Douglas Williams.

Pallbearers were Sammy Ramey, Larry Cassels, Jordan Bailey, Tyler McCoy, Bub Stoneberger, Tim Bowman-Deyarmin, Jarrett Fox and Kevin Fox.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert Laing, Charlie Boy Hall, Greg Vaught, James Granville Fox, Richard Sargent, Kyle Fox, Gene Airhart Jr. and John Shaffer.

The family received friends on Monday, August 22, from 6-8 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
