Dennis Donak II

Dennis "Richard" Donak II, 36, of Luray, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on July 25, 2016, in Front Royal.

Richard was born Nov. 14, 1979, in Woodstock to Dennis R. Donak Sr. and Nancy Linaburg Donak.

He was a 1997 graduate of Luray High School and an alumni of Lord Fairfax Community College.

Richard was a member of the Randolph-Macon Academy staff in Front Royal for 16 years. He was brilliant with computers and is credited with writing the programs currently used for student records.

Outside of R-MA, Richard's passion was the family farm, where he found peace and shared his love of agriculture with his father. Richard especially enjoyed harvest time each year and running the combine.

He had a talent for welding, diagnosing, and fixing equipment that will surely be missed.

Beside his parents, Richard is survived by a sister, Carrie Currence and husband, Mark; a brother, Aaron Katz and wife, Kristi; two very special nephews, Daniel and Thomas Currence; and a niece, Lesley Katz.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clyde and Edna Linaburg, and Veda and Martha Donak.

Richard will lay at rest at the family farm, 1606 Stonyman Road in Luray prior to the day of the service.

Services will be led by Pastor Buz Mendhart and the Rev. Michael Williams, director of student life at R-MA, on Saturday, July 30, at the Luray Seventh-day Adventist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. with the service to follow. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Luray, where Richard will await our Lord's return.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the Randolph-Macon Academy Scholarship Fund in memory of Richard Donak, 200 Academy Drive, Front Royal, VA 22630.

Donald R. Fuller

Donald R. Fuller, 85, of Harrisonburg and formerly of New Market and Calverton, Md., passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born June 19, 1931, in Washington, D.C., and was a son of the late W. Rogers and Laura M. Fuller.

He was in the insurance business for more than 40 years as an agent, manager and field trainer. He won many national and company awards.

After a short retirement, he consulted for two other companies, but was called back to his former company and would continue to work for another five years before retiring again.

He was a member of the Burlington Masonic Lodge of Knoxville, Tenn. for 55 years.

While he and his wife, Shirley, resided in New Market, he served on the board of directors for Dominion Bank of Front Royal and was on the New Market Town Council.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Fuller (Pugh); three children, W. Rogers Fuller, Brian K. Fuller and wife, Mary, and Melanie A. Souza and husband, Brian; four grandchildren, Melissa and husband, Ricky, Brian Jr. and wife, Megan, Gerrit and wife, Samantha, and Jason; and a great-grandson, Nathan.

The Rev. Bruce Johnson and Winston Wenger led a funeral service Monday at Manor Memorial United Methodist Church in New Market. Interment was at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md.

Luther D. Kenney

Luther Daniel Kenney, 71, of Front Royal, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 23, 1944, in Winchester, to Luther Nevett Kenney and Frances Lee Corder Kenney.

He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.

Burial will take place in Culpeper National Cemetery.

Mark D. McGuinness

Mark Dunphy McGuinness, 56, of Linden, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, at his residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 29, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W. Main St.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at New Hope Bible Church, 80 N. Lake Ave., with pastors Bobby Stepp and Mike OíNeil officiating.

Survivors include two sons, John and Troy McGuinness; brother, Michael and two sisters, Susan and Lizabeth and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty W. Milhon

Betty "Betty Boop" "Meamaw" Wilson Milhon, 87, of Stephens City, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Milhon was born June 6, 1929, in Alexandria, daughter of Edith Wilson Edwards and Louis Edwards.

She owned and operated Milhon Sewing Shop in Stephens City.

Her parents and her husband, Lloyd Syndor Milhon Sr., preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Angela Hepner of Winchester, Sidney Butler of Boyce, and Lola Milhon of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; two sons, Lloyd Milhon Jr. of Middletown, and Michael Milhon of Winchester; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Monday, July 25, at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Stephens City, with the Rev. Westwood Frank officiating. Burial followed in Green Hill Cemetery, Stephens City.

Pallbearers were Jesse Milhon, Matthew Milhon, Brandon Milhon, Steve Campbell, Robert Arnold and Jay Lahman.

Sean Patrick O'Brien

Sean Patrick O'Brien, 47, of Front Royal died on July 19, 2016.

He was born on April 20, 1969, in Connecticut.

Sean is survived by his wife Lesley; six children, Jason, Steven, Erik, Logan, William and Gavin; three grandchildren, Kayla, Ashlynn and Saul; his parents, Gisela and David Meese and his sister, Diane Miller.

The family will host a memorial gathering from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at the Moose Family Center on Brentsville Road in Brentsville.

Eugene L. Orndorff

Eugene Loring Orndorff, 63, of Toms Brook, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016, at his home.

He was born Dec. 9,1952 in Woodstock, a son of the late Robert Monroe and Ruth Marcella Foltz Orndorff.

He had been employed at Bowman Apple Products Inc. in Mount Jackson, Chemstone in Strasburg and Avtex in Front Royal.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Barb Orndorff, whom he married April 22, 1972.

He is also survived by two sons, Christopher M. Orndorff and wife, Penny A., of Woodstock and Brian Lee Orndorff of Toms Brook; a brother, Wayne Orndorff and wife, Debra of Fort Valley; a sister-in-law, Judy Orndorff of Winchester; two grandchildren, C.J. Orndorff and Jacob Orndorff, both of Woodstock.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Orndorff and Larry Orndorff.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, July 20, at Woodstock Christian Church with the Rev. Bill Erbach officiating.
