Rebecca A. Bailey

Rebecca Ann Bailey, 80, of Front Royal, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017.

Ms. Bailey was born Oct. 30, 1936, in Warren County, daughter of David Albert Tobin and Elizabeth Henry Tobin.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Kirk Bailey of Linden and Col. Kelly Lee Bailey of Crestview, Fla.; sister Margaret Colley of Woodbridge; brother David L. Tobin of Baltimore; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W. Main St., followed by a memorial service conducted by Pastor Steve Guizar.

Tiny Bell Trail Crum

Tiny Bell Trail Crum, 82, of Bentonville, passed Feb. 17, 2017

She was born in Franklin County on Dec. 24, 1934, to Tannie and Sarah "Meda" Trail.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Wilson Crum; daughter Peggy; granddaughter Michelle "Shell" James; and brothers Allen and Jimmy Trail.

She is survived by daughters DeEtta Gillespie, Patsy Weatherholt, Marie McBride and Judy James; sons Randall Trail, Larry Crum and Roy Chisom; sister Corina Peters; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Tuesday at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Franklin County.

Dorothy L. Drummond

Dorothy L. Drummond, 90, of Strasburg, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2017.

Dorothy was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Strasburg, a daughter of Ella Bauserman.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Drummond, whom she married on April 3, 1946, in Hagerstown, Md.; her three sons, Robert F. Drummond of Clyde, Texas, and Steven Drummond and Jonathan Drummond, both of Strasburg; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, John Drummond of Winchester and Hubert Drummond Jr. "Joe" of Strasburg; two sisters, Mary Jane Jenkins and Laura Belle Sonner of Strasburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and other close relatives.

A funeral service for Mrs. Drummond will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the Strasburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church, with Pastor Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Strasburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 359 N. Massanutten St., Strasburg, VA 22657.

Arrangements were handled by Stover Funeral Home and Crematory, Strasburg.

Keith H. Emerson

Keith H. Emerson, 92, of Luray, passed away peacefully Feb. 7, 2017.

He was born Feb. 4, 1925, in Luray, to Milton E. Emerson and Elmer Wood Emerson.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Gayle P. Emerson; two sons, Lawrence K. Emerson and wife Ellen of Warrenton, and Philip G. Emerson and wife Beth of Williamsburg; two grandchildren; a nephew and a niece; and extended family members.

His parents and four older siblings, Everett L. Emerson, Thelma Emerson Nevitt, James M. Emerson and Geraldine Emerson Woodward, preceded him in death.

The Rev. William A. Ricketts Jr. conducted a memorial service with military honors Saturday, Feb. 11, in the pavilion at Beahmís Chapel Cemetery, Luray. A reception followed at American Legion Post 22.

Keith D. Foxwell

Keith Douglas Foxwell, 17, of Front Royal, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017.

Keith was born Jan. 6, 2000, in Manassas, son of Michael and Amanda Foxwell of Front Royal.

Surviving along with his parents are his sisters, Alyssa and Gabby; paternal grandparents, Harry and Eileen Foxwell of Fairfax; paternal great-grandmother, Louise Foxwell; maternal grandparents, Danny and Lorie Shoop of Bristow; and maternal great-grandmother, Alice Shoop.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Maddox Funeral Home.

Kyle W. Holbert

Kyle Wayne Holbert, 60, of Strasburg and formerly of Staunton, passed on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017.

He was born on Dec. 29, 1956, in Rockbridge County to Ralph and Elsie Holbert.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kate and Hugh Holbert.

Surviving are his wife Patty Holbert; mother Elsie E. Holbert; sons Jerry Armentrout Leigh, Christopher Armentrout and Brandon Holbert; seven grandchildren; sisters Vickey McDaniels, Frances Carter and Donna Deneen; and brothers Timothy Holbert and Jeffrey Holbert.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Olive Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, 12180 Back Road, Toms Brook, VA 22660.

Flora E. Mullins

Flora Ellen "Sis" Mullins, 59, of Front Royal, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017.

Sis was born on June 4, 1957, in Kentucky to Troy Q. Mullins and Martha P. Skees Mullins.

Survivors include her mother; sister Barbara Herbert and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother Dewey S. Mullins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W. Main St. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ervin E. Rohrbaugh

Ervin Eugene "Gene" Rohrbaugh, 80, of Star Tannery, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Brookside Rehab and Nursing Home, Warrenton.

He was born July 3, 1936, in Jordan Run, W.Va., a son of George Ervin and Nellie R. Rohrbaugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Davis Rohrbaugh; and a son, Randy Gene Rohrbaugh.

Survivors include his children, Gerald Lynn Rohrbaugh of Front Royal and James Darrell Rohrbaugh and wife, Becky, of Maurertown; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Star Tannery Volunteer Fire Department, 950 Brill Rd., Star Tannery, VA 22654.

A funeral service was conducted Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at Stover Memorial Chapel, Strasburg, with Pastor Scott Priest officiating. Burial followed in the Hampton Cemetery in Star Tannery.
