Rhonda Lynn Chacon
Rhonda Lynn Chacon, 55, of Front Royal, died on Monday, March 25, 2013 at her home.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 28, at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service until 1 p.m.

Ms. Chacon was born Sept. 4, 1957, in Houston, Texas, daughter of the late Richard S. Chacon and Rosemary Warner Chacon. She was raised by her mother Marguerite Chacon.

Surviving are three children Stephanie Martin of Fredericksburg, Va., Marc Anthony Chacon and Megan Victoria Chacon both of Front Royal; two brothers Tommy Rinehart and David Rinehart both of Texas; and five grandchildren Kloie Chacon, Thomas Chacon, Taj Chacon, Alec Martin, and Raquel McCoy.

Mary Emogene Meadows
Mary Emogene Meadows, 87, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, in her home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Jay Ahlemann. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Meadows was born June 3, 1925, in Charleston, W.Va., daughter of John William Pauley and Narda Deal Meadows. She was a volunteer in the gift shop for Warren Memorial Hospital and was married to the late Edward Castle Meadows.

Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by a son Gary Edward Meadows and a brother Harrison L. Pauley.

Surviving are two daughters Carolyn Baumes of Front Royal and Joyce Meadows-Powell of Winchester; a son John R. Meadows of Cromwell, Indiana; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Larry Knox, Jerry Pauley, Terry Pauley, William “Tripp” Bloxom, William R. Bloxom, and Ronald Baumes.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Audrey F. Neal
Audrey F. Neal, 81, of Front Royal, died Sunday March 10, 2013, while under hospice care at Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center, Gainesville, Va.

Born Audrey F. Winchester on May 5, 1931, in Odem, Texas she is the daughter of the late John Thurmont and Viola (Pavlicek) Winchester.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael W. and Karen Farris; four grandchildren, Crystal Jordan, Kyle, Steffan and Emma Farris as well as one great grandchild, Ashlynn Trenary, all of Front Royal, Virginia. She leaves behind two siblings, a brother, D.D. âJackã Brown of Smithville, Missouri and a sister, Margie Yowell of Boyce, Virginia along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Everett Winchester of South Carolina.

A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at New Life Christian Church, 2930 Middle Road, Winchester Virginia with Larry Veach officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made in her memory to the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Shenandoah, 598 North Kent Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.

Marian C. Burgess Roberts
Marian C. Burgess Roberts, 92, of Bentonville, died on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 23, at noon at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Lewis Holmes. The family received friends from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts was born March 31, 1920, in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late Charles Burgess and Myrtle Gragan Burgess. She was married to the late Willard I. Roberts, Sr.

Surviving are her children Willard I. Roberts. Jr. of Manassas Park; Ronda A. Knotts, Charles B. Roberts, James G. Roberts, and Bruce R. Roberts all of Bentonville; and Betty Sue Dinguess of West Virginia; one sister Gertrude Luckle of Waldorf, Md.; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Adrian L. Roberts and a brother Bussy Burgess.

Susan Elizabeth Rose
Susan Elizabeth Rose, 49, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her residences.

Mrs. Rose was born Dec. 17, 1963, in Washington, D. C., daughter of Jack A. Rickel and Gloria Mallalieu Rickel.

She was the executive secretary of the Clarke County Rotary Club. She was a realtor and General Manager for Comex World Wide Corporation in Sterling.

Surviving with her mother and father of Front Royal is a brother, John Rickel of New Jersey.

Her husband, Gary Rose preceded her in death.

A memorial service was held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with The Rev. Canon Dwight L. Brown officiating.
